I always start my day at 6 a.m. with a 15 minute meditation and a 30 minute yoga workout. This helps me start my day with purpose and intention. Starting off with self care helps me take care of everything and everyone else around me. I have 8 goats, 14 chickens, 5 cats, 2 dogs, and a husband that need my love and attention. To celebrate my organic lifestyle, we built a greenhouse to grow our own vegetables in. I also visit my local farmers market every weekend for fruits and vegetables we don’t grow ourselves. Cooking wholesome meals has become one of my favorite things to do in order to sustain our healthy habits. The outdoors have become an essential part of my active practices. Not only do I work on up-keeping my 10 acres of land, I also indulge in hiking, yoga, and walks. And last but not least, the most important part of healthy living is beautiful relationships. Sharing time with my family and loved one’s has been a vital part of my journey. With them in my life, I feel motivated to lead by example and pursue my passion of healthy living.
